Why North Queensland Is Solar Paradise
Australia's Solar Capital
North Queensland receives some of the highest solar irradiance in the entire country. More sunshine means more power, faster payback, and bigger savings for every system we install.
Maximum Government Rebates
North Queensland postcodes fall in the highest STC rebate zones. This means you receive the maximum possible government rebate, reducing your system cost by thousands of dollars.
Rising Energy Costs
Electricity prices in Queensland have increased over 100% in the last decade and continue to rise. Locking in solar now protects you from future price hikes for 25+ years.
Perfect for Battery Storage
With NQ's high solar output, battery storage makes even more financial sense. Store excess daytime generation for evening use and reduce your grid dependence to near zero.

Trusted Across North Queensland
“Running a holiday rental in Airlie Beach, our power costs were insane. Smart Solar installed a big system and now our property runs almost entirely on solar. Massive savings.”
“Being in Bowen, we get incredible sun. My 10kW system generates way more than we use. We're actually making money from feed-in credits most quarters now.”
“Out in Charters Towers the aircon runs non-stop. Our power bill was crippling. Smart Solar put in a huge system with a battery and we've cut our bill by 85%. Life changing.”
